About Charlotte Fury Lacrosse Club

Where it all began....

In the Summer of 2017 a group of parents decided to take the summer off from their usual travel teams.  Greg Allen, at the time a middle school coach and parent, decided to form Charlotte Fury during this break.  Fury attended their first 7v7 tournament in Chattanooga, TN that summer with great success!  The rest is history, Charlotte Fury was formed!

Founder/Director & Coach Greg Allen

A native of Corning, NY (Western New York), Greg has called Charlotte home since 1997. With over 25 years of experience coaching both men's and women's lacrosse, his passion for the game runs deep. In 2004, Greg and his then-wife welcomed triplets—two daughters and a son—into their family. He temporarily stepped away from coaching to focus on raising his young children, but as they grew older, he found himself drawn back to the sidelines. Today, Greg continues to share his love of the game, not only by coaching young athletes, but also by having the opportunity to coach his own children.
